AluCAD is an intelligent library containing all Alusett parts; it is running additionally to autoCAD R13 on Windows 95 and NT4.0. A new release for autoCAD R14 will be available early may.

AluCAD includes dynamic construction supports which are available at any phase of the planning. All functions can be easily accessed by dialog boxes, therefor there is no need to use autoCAD's command line. The connections between the elements are controlled automatically. An error message is displayed in case of incorrect constructions. Panels can be inserted just by selecting the related posts and rails.

AluCAD offers two choices of display:

Construction mode: all drwaings are shown as lines

Presentation mode: products are displayed at their actual shape

All the components are shown in 3D. Photo-realistic pictures may be generated by suitable rendering software.

Part lists are available whenever needed and can be easily transfered into the common spread sheett programs for individual processing.
